On-line Change of Mind Policy

If you change your mind about a product bought from www.urbanedge.co.nz, it can be returned as long as we receive the product back within 14 days. All we ask is the garment must be in the condition we sold it - clean and unworn, with all original tags attached. As you have bought on-line we understand you need to try on, the size may be wrong or the colour not quite what you expected so we are happy to exchange or refund the sale.
Please note Ladies swimwear, Headphones, DVDs, Gift Cards and Sale items are excluded from being returned.

Please contact us at info@urbanedge.co.nz or call us on 07 378 7400 quoting your name, purchase reference number and reason for return to obtain a Returns Authorization Number if you have a garment you wish to return or exchange.

Except for faulty items, refunds are only available to online purchasers of products as they are unable to try the product on.  Any products purchased from a physical Urban Edge store must comply with the Returns Policy applicable to In-Store locations. 

Urban Edge will not refund the original delivery costs or return freight costs for any product that is returned for reasons other than faulty product.

If your product has been damaged or lost in transit, please contact our customer service team on info@urbanedge.co.nz and we will arrange to track down or replace the damaged products.

In-store Change of Mind Policy

If you change your mind about a garment, we are happy for you to return it for an exchange or a Urban Edge Voucher as long as we receive the garment back within 7 days of purchase. All we ask is the garment must be in the condition we sold it - clean and unworn, with all original tags attached and a receipt is provided.

If you are buying a gift for someone please ask for a Gift Exchange Card

Under no circumstances will we refund the sale.

We do our upmost to bring you the best prices, if however you find one of our products cheaper, locally and within 7 days we will match it or refund the difference – you choose.

  • Item must be the same model, year, size and colour.
  • Item must be in-stock at time of enquiry.
  • Shop to shop only.
  • Internet to Internet within New Zealand only.

Faulty Garments 

We pride ourselves on providing our customers with quality products. However, occasionally faulty garments slip through unnoticed. 

Faulty products may be returned so long as the product is still under warranty. We will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 to provide a remedy.

If you have a faulty product that you would like repaired, replaced or refunded, please drop into our store or contact us at info@urbanedge.co.nz or call us on 07 378 7400 to obtain a Returns Authorization Number if you wish to return via courier.

Please enclose your original invoice with a detailed description of the fault.

We will endeavour to process all warranty claims in a timely manner; however some faults must be approved by the manufacturer before a refund or replacement can be issued. In this case we will keep you informed on a regular basis via email updates. 

Each manufacturer may have different warranty periods or service standards for faulty products. While we will endeavour to deal with all faulty products promptly, we do not have control over the repairs or assessment process for warranty issues. In some cases, products returned in used condition will be repaired instead of replaced and will not be refunded unless repair is impossible. For more information on your products warranty, please refer to the information included with the product.

Delivery

Orders placed Monday to Friday will be shipped within 24hrs of payment being received. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be shipped within 48hrs or the next working day.

We will not deliver to a Post Office box or address we think suspicious.

We ship our goods using Fastways couriers within New Zealand only.

Please feel free to contact us, should your goods not arrive in good condition. (Note: We are not responsible for loss or damage to goods that are delivered to an incorrect address.)

Free shipping for orders over $100 within New Zealand only. Excludes some sale and VIP priced items.

General T’s and C’s

Sales items may not be returned or exchanged unless faulty, all sales of discounted items are final, both online and in-store.

The item being refunded will be refunded by the original form of payment.

Items purchased through urbanedge.co.nz must be processed through our online site.

Shipping costs will not be refunded unless the original item is deemed faulty. Repaired/replacement items will be sent out at our expense.

Items returned for exchange/refund will be processed within 5 working days of being received.

Urban Edge will not accept any "Collect On Delivery" deliveries.  Any returns sent "Collect On Delivery" will have the postage costs deducted from your refund.

Urban Edge will pay the return shipping cost to a New Zealand address if you are returning something as a result of an error we made.

Before sending any item back for exchange, it’s really important that you contact us first. This way we can identify if and where we have stock of the replacement item, and to discuss any additional freight charges. 

Privacy

We only collect personal information we really need, we don't share it with anyone unless you let us and we do everything we can to keep it safe.

Your privacy really is very important to Urban Edge. So we have established and implemented privacy and information handling practices that reflect the highest standards and best practices of organisations doing business on the Internet.

This privacy policy describes the practices that apply to our site, including, specifically, the information we collect about you, when and how we collect that information and what may happen to that information.

We will not collect personally identifiable information like your name, e-mail and mailing address and telephone number ("Personal Information") without your knowledge and permission;

We will not disclose your Personal Information to third parties unless you have authorized us to do so;

And we will take all reasonable steps to protect the security of the Personal Information we collect from you.

Your Personal Information

Urban Edge does not collect personally identifiable information on our website, such as your name, address, e-mail address or telephone number, without your knowledge.

Such information is collected only when you knowingly and voluntarily submit it to us (as, for example, when you contact us via e-mail). And Urban Edge uses this voluntarily submitted information for the purposes for which it was submitted.

Ordering

The name that will appear on your statement will be  URBAN EDGE. 

When you place an order with Urban Edge we will ask you to provide certain information about yourself, such as your name, mailing address, e-mail address and contact phone number.

The personal information you submit when placing your order is treated as confidential. We use this information to process your transaction, and we share the information with Visa, Mastercard, DPS etc. in order to process your order.

Trends, Tracking and Sharing Information

Urban Edge uses standard software for monitoring statistical information such as how many visitors we have to our websites and what countries they are coming from.

These statistics are viewed on an aggregate basis and help us get general overviews of customer trends. We do not look at individual customer data. Personal information specific to each Vendor's sales is treated as strictly confidential and will only be reviewed or examined in the event of a dispute, claim, error or customer request.

Security

Urban Edge uses stringently tested technologies to ensure the security of information transmitted via our website and maintained in our possession.

When you place your order, "checkout", you will see a lock icon appear on the status bar of your browser. This indicates that the data that is submitted is encrypted while in transit and so cannot be viewed by anyone other than us. In addition, when we receive that data, it is stored on a separate location to the web server so that it can only be accessed by us.

Our site may provide links to other sites. When you click on one of these links, you are leaving our site and entering another site that we do not control and for which we cannot be responsible.
